Ag-Pro Companies of Boston, GA acquires 11 John Deere dealerships in Southern Texas from South Texas Implement and Tractor City. As a result of this acquisition, they now have 35 total locations across Georgia, Florida, South Carolina and now Texas.
Boston, GA. Ag-Pro Companies announced the acquisition of eleven John Deere dealerships in southern Texas. With the purchase of these dealerships from South Texas Implement and Tractor City, Ag-Pro has made a significant geographic expansion that will allow the company to serve a wider base of customers across all market segments, from the consumer to the large corporate farms. The combined company will have more than $650 million in annualized sales and employ more than 700 people. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The expansion will provide Ag-Pro customers with an even deeper commitment to providing the best products and services and leverage greater buying power to deliver value to small business and enterprise farmers throughout the South. Ag-Pro Companies serves a wide array of customers across four states. Kirt Morris, Division President of Ag-Pro’s Texas Division commented that he plans to “concentrate on enhanced customer support and focus on the diverse customer base across South Texas.” From large-scale farmers, property owners and commercial lawn care companies to residential consumers and outdoor enthusiasts, Ag-Pro delivers solutions tailored to the individual needs of all of its customers.

Ag-Pro Companies recently moved into the Midwest, acquiring a dealership called JD Equipment. The dealership had 10 locations in Ohio and northern Kentucky, bringing Ag-Pro’s location count up to 70+ stores across the U.S.
