John Deere designs machines to easily integrate with AutoTrac, resulting in the most comfortable operating experience in the market. Producers simply plug the display into the provided connection inside the cab and attach the receiver to the roof of the cab.
AutoTrac requires an integrated steering kit, AutoTrac Controller kit, or AutoTrac Universal. You will also need a display, options include GreenStar™ 2 (GS2) or 3 (GS3) Display. The display will need to have an AutoTrac activation. If you have a Generation 4 CommandCenter™ controls you will need to purchase a CommandCenter AutoTrac activation. All set ups require a GPS receiver. Ag-Pro offers the StarFire™ 6000 Receiver for this application.
Ag-Pro has set up a large, robust RTK network. The investment Ag-Pro made in their area allows producers to have a lower cost because the Ag-Pro is responsible for base station upkeep. Ag-Pro networks cover more area with the RTK signal, giving many producers access to RTK on all of their grounds.
